ever heard of tennis elbow? well i never understood that exactly as anyone can get it even if they have never played tennis.anyway woke up and my wrist was in severe pain...could not bend it. anyone ever heard the term masturbation wrist? not that i do that but wtf is wrong here.so hows your day?

With Cosmic Illusions we challenge you to create an artwork, sci-fi, surreal, fantasy, does'nt matter, just pick your favourite genre and blow us away. Show us another world, state of mind, dimension, dream or nightmare, hallucination, prophecy of things to come etc..

Anything goes from traditional fantasy to far-out science-fiction, from tranquil surreality to the downright bizarre, as long as the end-result does'nt resemble our own everyday-reality too closely. And as long as you use the required stocks in your entry of course, more about those in the rules.

The Rules

I. Each entry has to use at least one stock-piece from the cosmos-packs distributed by *resurgere, and at least one model stock, from `Elandria, *faestock or =lindowyn-stock. The more effort put into the required stock-use though, for example, using all three models with one space-piece might make the judges appreciate the entry a little more.

II. You´re free to use as much as other stocks as you like, as long as the required stocks are in your entry as well.

III. Credit properly. Entries with vague crediting will be automatically ignored. If you happen to use stock-photos from offsite, from [link] for example, you need to credit via direct link(s) to the photo(s) you used, crediting sxc.hu only is not enough. As for resources used from DA, dev-link or icon-link to the stock-provider(s) are required. If you don´t know how to create dev-links or icon-links, read this: [link]

IV. Both digital & traditional media entries are accepted. However, in the case of traditional media entry, the use of the required stock has to be obvious enough. No literary entries, has to be an image.

V. One entry per artist.

VI. Your entry has to be new, artworks submitted before the contest starting date (September 22, 2008) will be ignored.

VII. Note your entries to *Funerium, using a subject like "Competition entry" or something similar. Entries via comments on my front-page, or elsewhere will be ignored. And don´t forget to inform the other required stocker(s) about your piece, as well as all the other stock-providers used in the entry if their rules require you informing them about the use of their stock.

VIII. Don´t forget to state in your artworks description that you´re submitting the image for this competition. A link to this competition-journal wouldn´t hurt either, but it´s not mandatory.

IX. Have fun. That´s an order.

Deadline: December 31, 2008. We reserve the right to extend the deadline if there occurs any need to do so.
